Burning trouble with easy cd creator and xp-Freezes after writing table of conte

I recently upgraded to xp and reinstalled easy cd creator
with all the upgrades and when ever I try to burn an
audio cd it burns the table of content and then freezes
up and I eventually have to manually reboot my computer.
I then installed Nero burning software and had the same
problem. I have gone through about 30 cds and am ready to
throw my computer out. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Any one who helps me figure this out can
have 10 discs from my list of live music free of charge

.

You did not state whether you are using CD-Rs or CD-RWs.
Also, are you trying to create music CDs or Data disks?
Use CD-Rs for music/MP3s and format a CD-RW first before
using it as a data disk, then it will work just like your
harddrive.
