I don't know if i got this right. If you want to stop everybody from your network to get to your computer and browse your folders and you want t do by means of a Service, the you can stop the Server serviceon your machine.
Go to run and type services.msc and press Enter. In thye Services window go to the Server service and click the stop button. The problem with this choice is that you cannot share any resource of your computer with nobody (printers, files, etc)
The other way to stop sharing your filas and folders is going to the root directory, right-click it, and in the security tab remove everyone from the list. In the same tab, click on Advanced and check "Replace permission on all child object with entries shown here that apply to child objects
