browser closes down

I am using Windows 98 and IE6. When I go to website:
www.myfamily.com and try to login, the browser closes
down. Does anyone know of any reason for this. It just
seems to be that one website. I have to login with a user
name and password and that is when the browser closes
down. Would appreciate some ideas.

Check these 3 things.

Java issue?

Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

Parasite?
IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
tools.

Have done everything suggested, but still cannot login to
myfamily website with IE6. I have used Mozilla browser and
don't have any problem logging in. Why is it only this
website that I am having problems with?
