Booting up

During boot sequence XP offers 3 line
MS XP home editio
MS XP home editio
MS Window
gives choice but starts at top of list where it does not wor
it only works on line 2 so I have to attend all boot-ups
How do I remedy this situation
There was a second instalation when I upgraded MB.

Hi René,

Go to Start > Run > msconfig
boot.ini tab and select 'check all paths.'

1st MAKE AN EMERGENCY BOOT DISK
2nd save a copy of c:/boot.ini as boot.old then make changes to boot.ini so that the correct entry is listed as default (you can also remove the old one). You can do a help search on boot.cfg for more info.
