I confused you with Bob Taylor (he never did answer my question; I then
got confused and thought you were him because you sort of replied to

I'm with you entirely, but I'm still pessimistic.

And don't forget that you can use your newsreader with the Microsoft
web-based forums and the NNTP bridges.

But remember that it's far from perfect. Better than using the
web-based forums, in my view, but there will undoubtedly be things
about it you don't like.
