When booting up a Windows 2000 pc, it gets to the Loading
Personal Settings...... and that's as far as it gets.
Anybody know why it's stuck right there? Thanks in
advance.

Have the user log in to a different computer, if you have
one available on the same network. If issue repeats
itself, you will know it is a problem with roaming profile
or congestion in network, not local.Have someone check
profile on server. Rename profile folder on server and
then have user log back in to computer, this will create a
new profile for user and should allow quick log in. Have
user go to drive/server (when logged in) and copy what is
needed to new profile folder from old(renamed) folder.
Probably nothing, since roaming profiles are usually just
settings.Hope this works for you.
