I have a HP Pavilion 511w that I can not get to boot up .The screens indacates there has been a error and gives me choices to boot in safe mode , normal , ect. I have tried every last one of those modes and I keep getting a blue screen that says " problem has been detected and windows has been shut down " and goes on to tell me to resart the pc and delete any new hard ware. As you know the pc came with no start up disk or anything
It also shows this code on the blue screen "unmountable_boot_volume

" technical infomation : *** stop 0x000000ed (0x8123d030,0x000000e,0x00000000,0x0000000
This is all I get out of this pc

What did you do before this happend. Is there anything you did which might be suspected of causing this problem? There are a number of possible causes to bring about this symptom so that your answer to the above will help narrow down the area to look.
