Blue Screen of Death

Tried all the usual on this. Unable to use safe mode/last config/even repair
etc. Trying something out. I have added the corrupt hard drive as a slave
drive on another machine. I can get into it and delete certain files but how
do i access Computer Management on that drive to disable or remove the guilty
drivers and can i registry check and anti virus it if i'm booted into a W2K
os. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks Kh**

How do you know it is faulty drivers and not a faulty hard drive?

Have you backed up all important data files on the problem
drive to somewhere safe?

Have you checked the hard drive?

I would try HD Tune (freeware).
Download and run it and see what it turns up.
http://www.hdtune.com/

Select the Info tabs and place the cursor on the drive under Drive letter
and then double click the two page icon ( copy to
Clipboard ) and copy into a further message.

Select the Health tab and then double click the two page icon ( copy to
Clipboard ) and copy into a further message.

Also do a full surface scan with HD Tune.

Hope this helps.
