Are you talking about 'Microsoft' Messenger or MSN messenger?? They
are two different animals. It you want to get rid of Microsoft
Messenger go to Steve Gibsons site, http://grc.com/stm/ShootTheMessenger.htm
and download his little proggy.
For MSN Messenger, just turn it off?
