blank start-up page

Ok, here we go: I have Norton Antivirus 2002, and spy
bot. However, just today when I started up Internet
Explorer (6), it starts off as a blank page. I used the
support page on microsoft,and it told me to download
spyblaster v 3.1., among other anti spyware and adware
software. I did, but once it (psy blaster) loaded up
there was an error message. My PC is perfectly fine,
EXCEPT for the blank start-up page, and that error
message I use LimeWire, if this provides any further
