Blank Start>Search pop-up window

Windows XP Pro SP3 fully updated

When I initially click Start>Search>For Files or Folders... I get a blank pop-up window with nothing but just the Menu showing.
Yet when I click be blank screen off and click Start>Search>For Files and Folders... a SECOND time, the pop-up screen comes up alright and it works perfectly.

What could be causing this annoying behavior?

Sounds like a language issue. "... be blank screen off ..." always requires
a "second time" to understandand wtf you mean.

Nothing is more annoying than such lack of language skills.

What is it you don't understand? Haven't you got enough brains to work out a
simple typing error? "be blank screen" should have been "the blank screen".
You don't exactly require a Ph.D. in logical thinking to work this one out,
do you? I am a touch typist and if I am not sitting right in front of the
keyboard with my belly button in line with the H key, I can get quite a few
things wrong as I do not tend to look either at the keyboard or at the
screen as I am typing. More like looking at that bird hanging disrobed on
the wall! ;-)

As I was saying, the very first time I start a search I get a blank
pop up screen. I x it off and start all over again. This time the search
pop-up screen is normal and I can use it. For some reason, the first time I
try to start a search for files and folders I ALWAYS get the blank pop-up
search screen. I literally have to x that screen off and have a second go.
This time everything is normal and everything works perfectly.

Got it?!

BUT have you got any SOLUTION for this behavior?

Yeah, "the blank screen off" makes perfect sense to you if you don't have
any education.

CLICK THE BLANK SCREEN OFF.

Does THAT make sense to you now? If not, I'd say the single cell between

It's called STYLE, mon ami. I can click off the blank screen or I can click
the blank screen off OR on for that matter. Have you anything to say? I mean
anything meaningful.

BTW, I learned English as a foreign language but I bet my English is better
than yours, any day.

Hey, I would definitely fail you in an AE (Advanced English) class. Have you
heard of syntax? Did I hear you say, "What's THAT?!" That's right, GO ON,

Have you actually yet tried clicking "the blank screen on"? Of course you
can say anything you want, but that won't help anyone solve your problem if
you haven't actually tried to solve it yourself and continually whine on
Usenet.
