Big Time Crash!!

I did a flash bios update and everything quit working. I
had to reinstall my OS (Pro Upgrade)and now I can't do
Windows Update, my Norton Antivirus and Personal Firewall
won't run "The COM+ System Failed to fire the
ConnectionMade Method on subcription ..................

I did get an error when reinstalling Windows from
CD....unable to copy winsrv.dll but after I hit retry a
couple of times the install continued on and everything
appeared to be all right. I'm not sure what to do now!!

My machine is an AMD 750 with 768meg of RAM and the file
system is NTFS.
HELP!!!!
 
Take the system to a technician. You may have killed the bios.
