Hi to all.

I'm sorry my bad english, I'm from Brazil.

Well, the problem is that I can't install in my computer any Video
Cards. Always, my Windows XP says that my adapter is VGASAVE. If I put
the onboard video card, the problem is the same. Anyone knows how to
fix it?

But the big problem is not this, is that I went to Display Properties -
Settings - Advanced- Adapter - Properties and I did disable all about
VGASAVE, in hope that this could fix the problem and the computer
recognize the real video card. But, when I restart the computer, after
the loading of windows, the Monitor become all black (but just after
the loading, before is all normal). I could use the computer in the
dark, but is difficult.

And other problem is that my computer don't enter in the safe mode!
(f8....) So, anyone have any suggestion for help me?? Thanks!!!

If you have a fancy new keyboard with a Function Lock (F Lock) key, you will
need to press that after a reboot, then try pressing F5 or F8 for Safe Mode.

Once in Safe Mode, don't disable your Display Adapter, uninstall it.
Windows will attempt to redetect it on the next boot.

Carl,

My keyboard don't have this Function Lock. My safe mode continue to
have a cursor blinking on the monitor...

You didn't happen to select Boot from Last Known Good Configuration or
something like that did you? If so, you have a repair installation or
re-install in your future.

If you have a video card installed in your system IN ADDITION to the video
card built into the motherboard, please remove it.

When you reboot, please enter your BIOS by pressing the DEL key or F2 key or
whatever the directions on the screen say for entering the BIOS Setup. Make
sure the on-board VGA is enabled.

If you have an older motherboard, you may actually have jumper settings on
the board that can disable the on-board video. That was the case I ran into
just two days ago on a Supermicro P4SCi motherboard. Consult your
motherboard manual, either the one that came with it or the one you download
from online, and see if that is the case.
