Big Help Please: WinXPPro

My computer hangs during the windows XP Pro loading
screen. the blue line keeps moving but nothing happens at
all. I have tried restore point and safe mode but neither
allow me to get into windows. Im desperate for help and am
grateful for any comments.

Boot to your Windows XP CD and when you get a screen
asking you what you want to do, choose to fix the current
installed operating system.
