Please could some one help me with this mind stomping problem i seem to be
having.
The Victim a one year old Acer Aspire One.
The Problem, When turning the machine on I am given the option to press
either the F2 (Set Up) or the f12 (Boot Order) button, if i leave the machine
i get the whol black and white 'We apologize for the inconvenience' screen
where i am offered the choice of either,
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Windows Normally
When choosing either one of the Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and
Safe Mode with Command Prompt loads of lines of computer talk run through my
scren, after a few second of it doing this good old Blue Screen Of Death pops
and restarts the machine allowing me to start this nast horrible circle of
trouble i am having.
So, Last Known Good Configuration, chose it, next i get the Microsoft
Windows XP loading screen with the blue bar, seconds later guess what? Blue
Screen Of Death and a reboot back to squair one again! this also happens
wheni choose 'Start Windows Normally'.
Question 1: Is there any known way of me totally restoring my laptop back to
day one fresh out of its box without having to be logged on as a user?
and
Question 2: If not does anyone have any Idea of what should do next?
Any help of any kind what so ever would greatly be appreciated.
Than you for taking the time to read this and perhaps helping me with this
problem.
