Battlefield 2 question

My computer always hanged when playing bf2.
My monitor is 170B2 Philips
My computer P4 2.6C
RAM DDR400 1G
and Video card Radeon 9600XT
and intel 800Mhz Motherboard
When coming across a combat, my computer always freezed. What options can I
set?

Look at the Event Viewer.
Open Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer>Application

There you will find the reason.

Another thing you can do-update the graphic card driver.Visit the
manufacturer's website to download and install the latest graphic driver.
