mouse flickers

Hi all,
Wonder if anyone can please help. When i play any pc games on the
computer my mouse always flickers on the screen. I cannot seem to solve this
problem can anyone suggest any solutions. I have windows xp pro with sp2.
Intel Pentium 4 3.2ghz and 1g or ram. My graphics card that i use is nvidia
gforce FX 5500.

You could try turning down hardware acceleration a notch or two to see if
that helps. Right click a blank area of the Desktop | Properties | Settings
tab - Advanced button | Troubleshoot. Move the slider to the left a notch
or two. If that does it fine, if moving it more than a couple works, then
look for and install updated drives for the video card.
