Sticky Controls Playing Battlefield 2

Hey,
i have an inspiron 6400, with an ati x1400 256MB Vram Hyper Memory a 1.9Ghz
intl core solo and 1 gig of RAM.
my problemis that when playing battlefield 2, my controls become stuck and i
will continue walking and will not stop. i can then not turn strafe or shoot
until i have stopped walking, this therefore makes playing the game inredibly
annoying, o i would appreciate any help given

I occasionally have the same problem while playing counter-strike source. I
have found that alt-tabbing to the desktop or another program, then going
back into game usually fixes that problem
