Backup to RWCD

Hi George, if you are using XP Home, from everything I
have read here I think it can only be done using a
program such as Norton Ghost or some other back up
program.

The NTBackup does not recognise removable devices other than tape drives
(and floppies). In any case, the inbuilt burning does not support using
CD-R(W) as output medium from *any* program, you need a third party
package. Get one of he third party backup systems that handles the
burning for itself - eg BackUpMyPC from www.stompinc.com
