I am unable to locate my backup program from
System tools...I need to backup my registry so that I fix
the internal error found in norton antivirus

Hi

If you are running XP Home - the backup utility isn't installed by default.
Depending on what kind of XP CD you have it can be found in the
valueadd\msft\ntbackup folder.

If you are going to backup the Registry you might like to have a look at
Erunt. Please read the Detailed Information file for help on the program's
options:

Also manually create a System Restore checkpoint before you backup the
Registry.
