Critical files that make up System State were not successfuly backed up.
Restoring this backup set will cause system failure.

The operation did not successfully complete.

Have tried all these as a resort to resolve the issues
  1. Turned on the Volume shadow copy through => Administrative tool => component service => Volume shadow restart. Although this lay in the start mode.
  2. Turned on the COM+ System Application => Administrative tool => component service => COM+ System Application restart. Although this lay in the start mode.
  3. Strived to backup in the administrator mode by rebooting the computer and pressing F8 safe mode.
  4. Am regularly running Super anti spyware, malwarebytes, AVG defragmentation and check disk weekly.
None of these procedure resolved the error marked in bold on the above backup log file. Any resolution to this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Thank you, I was hoping if there is any solution for backing up file from the windows version as I had an external program called memo from seagates. that merely produce dead files without registry backup resulting several application to malfunction. If there is any solution to backup files using the windows NT backup is always greatly appreciated.

Your suggestion to change the application program will be resorted to if no other options remain ( as a last resort) Thank you
