Backup favorites

I want to upgrade my MSN Explore to the latest version
but I want to make sure I don't lose my "favorites". Can
anyone tell me where they are stored and in what format?
What is the best way to back them up. Thanks

Favorites links are stored in the Favorites folder. Locate the folder and
back it up.

Use the "Import\Export Wizard" in IE from File | Import\Export
This will create a html file usually in My Documents
After the upgrade, you can "Import" the same file ......
