Hi im running xppro as sever on small network and use
veritas backup exec to do dayly backups. The tuesday / to
thursday backups are fine.
I do a full network backup on fridays and it has failed
for three weeks now.
I replace the tape and set it all up again but it only got
to the following ,
started 24/10/03
system registry,com+ class registration,operating system,
and boot files have been backed up.

Then it skipped all other files saying that they were busy
or in use by another application.
The backup was at 1am sat morning and no users were on
site also no internet was connected , so im at a loss to
explain why this happened.
There is nothing in event logs to explain this either ok.

Please help , thank-you

GREH77 ok

Sorry, no free email support. Ask in the newsgroup, get answered in the
newsgroup. First of all, are you *sure* nothing is in use? Are any of
your users leaving applications open when they go home at night?
Secondly, try calling Veritas tech support. This isn't a Windows XP
issue; it's a Veritas issue.
