OK, found somewere that I need to check "disable volume shadow copier"
to backup a FAT32 volume, and when copying only files I get that
option. BUT when "system state" is included in the backup the option
to disable volume shadow copy is not enabled and the error occurs.
I have checked that both "Volume Shadow Copier" and "COM+" services
are running. Is it not possible to backup the "System state" on a
FAT32 volume? How do I then get a backup of the registry etc?

Arrrggghhh... OK, so since I could not copy the "system state" I
backuped the "WINDOWS" folder and the "System Volume Information"
since they contain copy of the system state and registry.

BUT when I browse the backup afterward all registry files in
"windows\system32\config" and all restore points ARE NOT in the backup
(and there was no warning about those file not beeing backuped)

Isn't there any way to backup the regsitry on a FAT32 volume?
Do I need to buy another backup software (thank you MicroSoft!!!)
