I want to regularly back up my Personal Folders to a separate hard drive,
but I cannot locate where these files are kept on my PC. Doing a search in
explorer does not locate these.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks
Brett

I use a little MS utility called pfbackup.exe which MS called
something like Outlook pst backup utility.

I am not sure if it is available anymore as I have not been able to
find it for a while.

It normally is in C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local
Settings\Applications Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Sorry.
Using Microsoft Outlook 2000 in Win 2000.

C:\Documents and Settings\username or account \Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

just copy the pst files out, outlook needs to be closed

You will find your Personal ffolder in

C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\LocalSettings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Remember you canot backup Pst file when Outlook is open. You also cannot
backup across a network drive.

All the best.
