Background changes when I print Word Document

Hi! I am running Word 2003 - I have created a word document that when I
print it - the background goes from violet to gray and turns the one large
background theme into a hundred? small boxes... On Fill Effects / Gradient /
Shading - I clicked "from center" - the print preview looks great but when it
comes out of the printer it doesn't even look like the same poster!

Thanx to anyone that can help - this is getting frustrating and time
consuming!

See if you can find a setting in the printer driver (in Control Panel). If
possible, you may want to try a different printer.
