Word's Format=>Background=>Fill Effects feature was designed primarily for web browser viewing and the default behavior on a web
page would be to tile a picture to fill a space.
If you use Format=>Background=>Printed Watermark=>Picture and use the 'scale' choice there, or go into your document header and
place the graphic there and size manually it generally should not tile.

When I, use a background in word 2003 everything looks right. print preview
looks right, but when it prints , it prints the background in tile.
What can be done to fix this?>>
