AVG free antivirus

I am an admin in XP. Couldn't figure out how to configure to allow AVG
access to D&S.

You have to have permissions. If it can it will. Are you an admin?

The log only lists things that access was denied. Post the log here.

Or create a text file, name it something.txt.vbs (AVG will warn it's suss). Drop it in a users profile somewhere.

Hi

I've been using AVG Free Edition for years - it hasn't let any 'nasties'
through yet. It also comes with free updates, which is very helpful.

Worked good on Win2k. I recently downgraded (it seems) to XP "pro".
Mssg I get sez AVG is not a valid Win32 application....??
