autosearch malfunction

I think my spybot search and destroy screwed up my
autosearch feature in I.E. 6. Get "connot find server"
error when I use the autosearch from my address window.
manual search works fine.

No. It doesn't screw up. It just removes invalid Search hooks (spyware hookers).
