Automatic Updates

hello, and thank you for any help.. i'm attemting to prevent microsoft
automatic updates from automatically restarting my pc when the updates are
complete.. i have unclicked the automatic update in my service folder
however up pops a security alert window and now i am concerned with the
security issue.. thx again for any help

Go to the Automatic Updates item in your Control Panel and set it to
"Download updates for me, but let me choose when to install them."

When updates are available they will be downloaded and you will be notified
in via your System Tray icon that updates are available and to click there
to install them.
