Automatic Update question

Service Pack 2 for XP Professional is available for download from Windows
Update, I have downloaded it and installed it on one of my PC's but I have a
laptop running XP Professional with Automatic Update set to notify me when
updates are available--when will Automatic Update detect SP2 is ready to be
installed?

get the free cd WINXP SP2 at compusa or staples, faster install, further this
download is only v5,,,BILTS 2.0 HTTP 5.1 WINXP update is the program needed
to install winxp sp2 from windows update.

WindowsXP Update is set to notify me also when updates are available, but I
have not received one for SP2. I concerned that perhaps I'm not receiving
critical updates.
