autodisconnect problem

Hi!

On a compaq deskpro p800, I'm running both Windows XP Professional
version 2002
Service pack 1 as well as Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service pack 3 and
I'm confronted with the following problem on both operating systems.

I'm using an ISDN dial-up connection to surf the web and I'm trying to
use the auto-disconnect feature, so a specified period of inactivity
is supposed to disconnect from the web automatically. However, even
while downloading I still get prompted that auto-disconnect is about
to break the internet connection everyonce in a while.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Thanks a lot in advance, regards, Niek

IE considers inactivity as displaying the same page (as in a download
situation). You'll have to turn off the disconnect on inactivity option to
keep your connection alive during large downloads.

I have a constant T1 connection. I may have misunderstood, but isn't the
auto-disconnect feature when using a dial-up such as a ISDN line?
