AutoComplete Not Working

About the same time I downloaded the latest XP update, my autocomplete
stopped working everywhere but, oddly enough, Google. I've tried all the
recommended fixes - cleared everything, uncheck, recheck, reboot, made sure
Protected Storage is running and tried to register RSABase.dll using -
RegSvr32 /u RSABase.dll. Nothing works. When running the latter I get this
message:

LoadLibrary ("RSABase.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found

What happened to it and how do I restore it?

Or, are there any other potential fixes? Weird that my previous search
items in Google are saved.

Thanks!

I have the same problem. Done the same as you but still not working.

I created a new user and tried in the new account, autocomplete worked fine
but I do not know how to copy my user settings from one account to another.

Oddly enough after basically giving up on the autocomplete issue, I noticed
that my firewire DVD burner wasn't recognized correctly in My Computer and
the My Computer folder was behaving erratically. I hadn't used the burner
for a week or so - the erratic behavior began after I used it to burn some
data to DVD.

I thought I would remove the DVD burner and then reinstall. I did and
amazing as it sounds, my autocomplete is working perfectly now and so is the
burner and My Computer folder. Very odd but perhaps they are all connected
in some way....I don't have a clue but I'm a happy camper just the same!

Maybe people with autocomplete issues ought to reinstall any firewire (or
usb2) peripherals they may have....HOWEVER, please do it at your own risk.
