Hey Jan, thanks for the help, I have not seen or tried these registry
tricks before. The one in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software|Microsoft|Internet Explorer|Main was
indeed "no", I've changed it to "yes". Sadly, this did not help. Yup.
Re-booted and everything.
So, what am I to do in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software|Microsoft|Internet
Explorer|TypedURLs ? There is nothing set at all, what should it be?

I can empty my history folder but I CANNOT delete it.
You can try to delete the HIstory folder as follows:
You may also have to go to Safe Mode to delete files/folders.

Your History folder may be damaged.
Free History Eraser from

History folder and a new one will be created when you restart.
