Auto Complete

I have just discovered that my Auto Complete does not function at
all...I have checked via IE / Tools / Options / Content / Auto Complete
that I have ticks in the Web Address / Forms / Username & Password boxes
plus the Prompt to Save Password box but I get no prompt request nor
have I any saved...Where have a gone wrong please?

Hi Telboy,
It always best if you mentioned your Browser Version and if you have any
protection software installed that can clean/clear the history on exit.
Are you the sole user for this machine?, may be somebody install IE history
Eraser to delete the IE history on this machine.
1= Click Start >> Double click Control Panel >> Double click Network and
Internet Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE Properties Click Advanced Tab then make sure this line or box
unchecked:
[ ] use inline AutoComplete uncheck this box.
Click [OK] when you done then close the IE properties.

You could try clearing out your Internet Cache (Temporary Internet
Files, Cookies - and possibly History) and try again.

I have tried all the above remedies but still cannot save mt entered
user / passwords via auto complete...Any further help will be more than
welcome...telboy
