audio driver speakers not working

i'm trying to get my speakers to work, but nothing comes
out of them. i hooked them up to another device and they
work fine. everything on the computer under audio is
enabled. i do however have someting called my mulitmedia
audio controller that has an exclamation point next to it
and inside under properties it says the drivers for this
device are not installed code 28. if anyone can help me
to get these things workign that would be great.

You probably qave to go to the site of your computer &/
or motherboard Mfg., download the drivers for your on-
board sound & then install them
