audio devices

my computer has speaker but i can not heard no sound at all, when i try
adjust the speaker volume it tells me that there is no audio devices
connected. can you help me with this problem
 
check the batteries or power adaptor. check on/ off button. check speaker
is plugged into speaker jack and not the mic jack.....
