If so, where can I get it ?

..par files are a method of recovering 'damaged' files - usually an archive
set but sometimes a collection of files such as .mp3's.

If you download a set of files where, say, one is missing, plus the
associated .par files then there will be a good chance that the missing file
can be reconstructed. The .par files on their own are not a lot of use.

There are two versions - ver. 1
Google for Smartpar or get FSRaid and information from here:

http://www.weethet.nl/english/internet_usingfsraid.php

not many peeps are using ver.1 now, most use ver.2

Get Quickpar and information from here:

http://www.quickpar.org.uk/

Easiest way to use either ver1 or ver2 is to put all the files and pars into
one folder - point the app at the folder and hit fix.

Just curious, what didn't you like about the program I recommended in my
reply to your first request?
FSRaid is the standard TTBOMK:

Doesn't require installation either. Simply make a shortcut to the download.

My current killfile: aafuss, Chrissy Cruiser, Slowhand Hussein, BEN
RITCHEY and others.
Generally speaking, if I don't respond to somebody who is acting
immaturely, it's because I've killfiled them.

No adware, cdware, commercial software, crippleware, demoware, nagware,
PROmotionware, shareware, spyware, time-limited software, trialware,
viruses or warez please.
