We're using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP at work. I want to program the
archiving of my Deleted items folder to get rid of messages older than a
month (kind of delayed cleaning, in case I deleted something by mistake). I
don't want to archive any other folder. I use the same procedure than I did
with Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000, but the results are different. The
Deleted items folder never empties, but before it did. Can somebody shed
some light on the problem?
The settings are: In the properties of the Deleted items folder, I chose the
third option, to delete items older than a month, and its third sub-option,
to get rid of them definitively. In Outlook's options, I asked to archive
every day, and to suppress expired items.
