Sent Items folder missing from Archive in Outlook 2007

Has anybody ever seen this?
All of my folders appear to be archiving correctly except for my Sent
Items folder.
As far as I can tell, the messages are being Archived (or deleted)
because there are no sent messages in my personal folder older than 6
months (which is what I have autoarchive set for).
And, no, my archive settings are not set to delete messages, they are
set to archive after 6 months.

Help!

Thanks!

Hi...

I lost sight of my "Sent Items" after upgrading my laptop to Vista and
pointing Outlook 2007 at my previous archive.pst file. I found the folder by
choosing Go > Folder... > "Archive Folders" - "Sent Items". Bizarrely, this
appears with a Calendar icon and the folder can now be accessed under the
Calendar view in "My Calendars" - "Sent Items in Archive Folders"!

Had this same problem. Thanks for the Calendar tip! I went to Data Files and found that Archive.pst was listed twice with the same file location. Removed one of the listings (maybe it doesn't matter, or maybe I got lucky), and the folders now look right: Sent Items is there as a message-type folder.
