We have a third party application (Polycom MGC MGR for video bridge
management) that keeps sporadically (three/four times a day) crashing on
multiple XP workstations. Crash reports containg the following:
Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION
Fault address: 73DD7DED 01:00006DED C:\WINNT\system32\MFC42.DLL
Application Name: MGC-Manager
Version: VERSION 7.0.2.5
Operating System: WinXP
Exeption GMT Time: Oct 21, 2005 19:18:22
Sometimes the fault adress in in USER32.DLL. Polycom has been unable to
identify just what is causing the issue but is pointing to network
utilization. We did not experience this issue on previous versions of the
Polycom application running on Windows 2000. Does anybody have any ideas as
to just what to look for or where to look to resolve this issue?
