appearance/ theme problem with sp2

after downloading sp2, when i click on changing my theme or resolution,
nothing shows up. i am unable to change my resolution and screensaver now.

please help. thanks.

This often happens when using third party desktop enhancers, etc. Run the
edit on lines 285 and 256 (right hand side):
