Am looking for a digital camera. Features I'd like to have are ~3x zoom, ability to take pictures in low light, high battery life. Ideally I'd like to spend less than 150£.

Thanks

This is one heck of a good camera for the price.

This is a good place to check out your cameras specs and get a look at some sample pics and movies, it is well worth a look.

Got the A560 and its a whole lot of camera for 70£! I use it with the flash turned off as it does wonders for the lag time. The ideal ASA seems to be 400 instead of auto. The image quality at 'normal indoor light level without flash' is similarto Fuji F10. Although, I havent as yet tried taking images at very low light levels without flash yet.

I was going to say Canon. I've had three Canon compacts and they've all been better than my current compact camera, a Nikon S500.

I'm definitely thinking of switching back to Canon.

Glad you like your new toy :)
