Antivirus Protection with Windows Vista

This is exaclty the reason I hesistate to ever post any questions in
any of these Microsoft Newsgroups. You ask a simple question and
every know-it-all has to jump in with a nasty response about what you
are doing wrong or why you're an idiot.

Okay, let's start with your original question. To my knowledge, there has
not been a resolution of problems with Norton running under Vista. Nor has
there been a resolution of the problems associated with Norton running with
XP. Or Win98. Or Win95. Or Win2K. Or WinNT. Or Win3.11. Or DOS 6.22.

Norton does not play well with anybody.

Even when Norton LOOKS like it is being well-behaved, even benign, Norton
uses as much as 20% of system resources.
