Another (DIFFERENT!) DVD won't read problem

N

Nick H

I use DVDs for data storage, not movies etc. I can no
longer drag and drop files to DVD (even DVDs that I have
dragged and dropped to before). In Windows Explorer, the
drive is recognized, and a folder I know to be on the
drive, is visible on the left side in the file tree, but
nothing is visible on the right side. "Properties"
indicates that there is in fact data on the DVD. Here are
the details:

Plextor PX-504A
Firmware V 1.02 (the very latest!)
Windows XP SP2

Can you please help? Thanks.

Nick,

Please repost to one of the active and appropriate newsgroups.
Windows XP and SP2 are no longer in beta.
