DVD Problem - Please help

Nick H

I use the DVDs for data storage, not watching movies etc.
I suddenly can no longer drag and drop files to DVD (even
to DVDs that I have dragged and dropped to before).
Device Manager says it's working OK.

In Windows Explorer, the drive is recognized, but none of
the contents (ie, the right window is always empty).
Sometimes, a folder I know to be on the drive is visible
on the left side in the file tree, but still nothing is
visible on the right side. "Properties" indicates that
there is in fact data on the DVD. Here are the system
details:

Plextor PX-504A DVD+RW
Firmware V 1.02 (the latest version)
Windows XP Home SP2

Can someone please help? Thanks.
