an unknown email antispyware allowed

I recieved an email from what its address said hp.
without intalling and just by outlook automaticly opening
it up a popup said that somthing was bieng installed and
had been marked safe. I am unsure of its saftey is there
a email to send unsure emails to be inspected to add to
future updates if any???

If Outlook automatically opened an attachment on your machine, you aren't up
to date with critical security patches.

On the other hand, if you got an alert from Microsoft Antispyware, stating
that what was being installed was a known program, it should be safe.
