all windows open reduced after I used help in hotmail

I used the help function while in my hotmail account. It
opened a virtical window to the right of my hotmail
window. When through using the help function, I closed
the help window and maximized my hotmail window. After
exiting hotmail all windows xp windows are now opening
reducted. How can I get the windows to open maximized?
