I have altered some setting in IE6 which means that all pages nor open in a new window. Unfortunately, I can't remember where the setting is located as I want to switch it off.

Michael,
In IE, go to TOOLS/Internet Options and click the ADVANCED tab and
scroll down to and UNCHECK "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
and hit APPLY and OK.

.

Michael, I'm sorry I can't be of help but would like to
know if you solved the problem as I must have done a
similar thing. The difference is that when I try to open
a second window of IE, it overlays and replaces the
first. I would guess that the solution to your problem
might the close to fixing mine. Would appreciate help if
you have solved yours.
