Did this get resolved? I am having the same issue as you now.
Thanks
I can't find any answer to this yet, which is weird, because I'm seing more
and more people experiencing and complaining about this on lists and forums
lately.
I have several colleagues who are having this problem. No answer in the
Knowledge Base about why some people receive a .txt file that has the same
content as the body. And in some cases, the body has the main text but not
the attachment, but the attachment contains the signature, which does not
appear in the body.
In other cases, the body is empty, and the entire email is in the .txt
attachment. In yet other cases, the body and the attachment contain
identical text.
It doesn't seem to be dependent (at least in any way that I can identify) to
using HTML or Plain Text formats. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or
reason to it.
Weird problem that doesn't seem to be addressed by any support materials or
directed forum searches in Google. Perhaps it is a combination of using
Exchange server with a POP3 account? But some of my friends who are
experiencing this don't connect to an Exchange server. So is it specific to
POP3?
Is there any way to understand, much less modify, this behavior? Even if
it's not fixable, it would be helpful to understand why it is happening.
Thank you very much for any help you can provide!
